Dan & Cheryl’s Beach Themed Wedding

Dan and Cheryl were married on a brilliantly sunny June Saturday- just perfect for their fresh blue and white wedding colour scheme. Their reception venue, The Custom House on Poole Quay, emphasised the couple’s love for the sea and this great part of the country we live in.

I was asked to provide bridal flowers and buttonholes with a subtle beachy look. Cheryl’s bouquet included ivory roses, spray roses and lisianthus, with a little blue-green eucalyptus foliage. Mini starfish, shells and blue sparkles gave a rather ‘under-the-sea’ sort of look I thought…

The bridesmaid’s bouquet was a little simpler, with no sparkle and just a few shells.

Classic white rose buttonholes for the gents…

And the flower girls wore mini wrist corsages to complement the look, set on blue ribbons for a splash of colour.

Big congratulations to Dan and Cheryl! It was lovely to create something a little different with your seaside themed flowers 🙂
