Gillian & Richard’s Scottish Style Wedding

Beautiful bride Gillian’s family are Scottish, so a hint of the highlands was in order for the couple’s big day. A textural look, with white thistles and rich purple and lilac tones fit the bill nicely. Traditional English flowers such as roses and scented freesias were included too.

I love these stunning lilac ‘Dolcetto’ roses. The slightly pink undertones help to bring deeper colours to life.

Wrist corsages for younger ladies are a brilliant way to keep hands free and look cute too…

The ceremony and reception were both held at The Durley Dean Hotel in Bournemouth’s West Cliff. Large pedestal designs, a trailing top table arrangement, and simple fishbowl vases with floating roses continued the colour scheme throughout the day.

It’s such a nice idea to convey your culture and heritage through the flowers on your wedding day. I hope I did you proud Gillian and Richard; it was a pleasure to work with you!
