After a long summer of hard work for all the wonderful wedding-makers of the south, it’s time for the return of Wedding Wizards! These are the people I love to work with and want to shout about!
First out of the blocks is Leslie Budzynski of BH13 Photography. Husband of Miss Ingredient, the amazing cake maestro, Leslie has years of experience and a straightforward, professional attitude towards shooting weddings. His images are slick, crisp and sophisticated… the ones below are from Claire and Duncan’s recent Bournemouth wedding which I provided the flowers for:
What service/product do you provide?
Describe yourself in three words:
Friendly, dedicated and creative
How did you come to work in weddings?
Simply the pull of the people, I’ve always enjoyed working with people and I especially like observing the interaction between people in a relationship and that is what wedding photography is all about. I aim to capture my subject’s personality, identity and emotion on camera.
What do you love most about your job?
I love being involved in a fun and exciting day almost every week, sometimes several times a week, and documenting the bride and groom’s visual heritage. I love looking in on the wedding day from the outside and yet being immersed in the centre.
What part of a wedding makes you go ‘YES!’?
When I have an image which tells lots of stories and connects with the couple, transporting them back to the moment the picture was taken every time they look at it.
If you were getting married tomorrow, what would you wear?
I would find the best suit and white shirt I could lay my hands on, but if we were to elope to distant shores then all I would pack would be my shorts!
